Airtel teams up with TSRTC to offer 4G data via WiFi on buses in Hyderabad

Airtel has teamed up with Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) to offer complimentary 4G data service through WiFi for commuters of Metro Luxury buses in Hyderabad. The service has been launched in 115 buses operating in the city as a pilot for 6 months. 

Commuters across any network can avail complimentary Wi-Fi for up to 20 minutes per day per user. In order to use the WiFi users will have to connect to Airtel 4G free Wi-Fi signal and enter their phone number to get a 4 digit OTP following which they will get free Wi-Fi for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes complimentary period, you can buy data packs starting Rs.25 for 100 MB. Consumers will be able to purchase the data packs though debit or credit cards. Citizens with any valid Indian mobile number travelling in any of these 115 Metro Luxury buses can access the Wi-Fi.
