iPhone 3G Sold Out on Vodafone India ?
After a user left a comment in one of our iPhone posts , We checked the iPhone page on the Vodafone India website and were surprised to find the above banner according to which the iPhone 3G stocks are sold out
and new stocks are expected soon.
Does this indicate that Vodafone is bringing home the 3GS when the whole world is waiting for the next gen iPhone ?

The Message Says “SOLD OUT” , If It Were A Tactic To Sell The Old Stock They Would Have Written “LOW STOCK, HURRY-UP, BUY-SOON” or Something Like That. Sold-Out Simply Means Sold-Out.
Secondly It Says “NEW STOCKS”, Now I Don’t Think They Are So Dumb (These People Already Know The Market Stats. And Everything) That They Will Stock iPhone 3G Again, I Mean That’s Simply Out Of Question To Stock iPhone 3G Again, People Who Wished To Buy It Have Already Bought It And Sales Of iPhone 3G Is Stagnant For The Past 5-6 Months(As iPhone 3GS Was Introduced In June), So The “NEW” Indeed Indicates “iPhone 3GS”.
Lastly The Message Says “COMING-SOON”, That Message Can Only Be Written For A Product Launch Which Should Be Available Within A Months Time Not More Than That.
One More Thing…..
Vodafone India Can Also Publish That Message Simply To Distract The iPhone 3GS Wannabees Of India(that indeed includes me) And That “Coming Soon” Messsage Could Remain On Their Site For A Long Time, I Mean For 4-5 Months Until Apple Starts To Dump The “3GS” Stocks And Prepare For Next-Generation iPhone In June/July

Finally, I Would Say That This Is The First Time In The Past 3-4 Months That Any Official Indication Has Come, So Please Apple Don’t Disappoint Us More.

Vodafone sales was not good much worse than Airtel so they just stopped sell iPhone 3G.
Two months back gone to vodafone to purchase they where out of stock then itself vodafone guy say that new iPhone 3G will not be available. He said new stock will be iPhone 3GS.
Vodafone does not stock Iphones any more. This was told to me in month of october and since then they do not respond regarding 3GS model.
i’ll wait for the nokia n900.. or even the x10..
both are better than the iphone 3G S considering the cost it retails for..
Just spoke to one of the Airtel customer care people, he told me that officially its not been launched, but Airtel stores should have started selling it. He told me the prices would be iPhone 3GS 16gb: Rs 26,100 and iPhone 3GS 32gb: Rs 31,100. I hope they have started selling it.

Can’t believe that people can behave so crazy over one damn phone. I am an Apple user too. I have an iMac and an iPod. But common….. it has been ages since the iPhone has come, and instead of moving on with life, people are hung up on… of all the things in the world, a silly iPhone. Wake up guys! If you like it that much, just go to the grey store and pick one up. Anyway Apple’s content service will never work in India for another couple of decades (they don’t like India’s IPR respect laws and have decidedly agreed that they cant make any money on it).
My iPod classic’s screen has never seen a movie play on it. I feel ripped off. A cheap chinese mp3 player would have been of more money value than the Apple product.

dude thers is no such thing as 8gb 3gs …. its only manufactured in 16gb and 32gb variation, so i assume ur emotions have been taken for a ride , hehe …. but neverthless iphone 3gs coming this feb after the apple jan event definitely, and apple is unveiling the internet tablet tht will replace mobile computing and the laptops forever …. cheers
