Samsung

Samsung had earlier announced their Bada OS which we reported on. The new Bada OS is expected to be Samsung’s first choice and is expected to replace the Windows Mobile and Symbian OSes that Samsung mobiles currently use.

This is Samsung’s own OS and hence it makes it easier for development and incorporation into devices. Now reports say that Samsung is set to announce a phone which runs on Bada OS by the 1st Quarter of 2010. Announcement in 1st Quarter means availability by 2nd Quarter.

There are many rumour surrounding this handset. it is said to be th next flagship model ie a high performer like the OMNIA HD. It is said to have many new features including Full HD Video Recording, 1GHz Processor etc. Lets hope they release something that looks as good as the phone in the picture. The phone in the picture is a fan-made concept. But Samsung is said to be developing phone with similar designs to their TV models, hence the inspiration.

We keep you up-to-date on more information.

Samsung has understood the growing market of Smartphones. That’s y it selling very well (50 million touchscreen handsets) in India as well as in globe. ‘BADA’ will set a new standard against the existing OS platforms like Android and Symbian
