Nokia N97 version 20 firmware now out for download

The new software update for the Nokia N97 which is due in October is finally out for download now over Nokia Software Updater and FOTA. This firmware update mainly brings improved touch screen scrolling and Improved OVI Maps 3.1 with 3D Maps.
Other updates include long press for symbols and numbers .This software release improves touch screen usability, allowing you to scroll smoothly through content by flicking the screen. Ovi Maps 3.1 brings 3-D maps, more accurate positioning, and improved search. Nokia e-mail (Nokia Messaging), Ovi Contacts, Ovi Store, and VoIP support have been added. This release also includes improvements in memory and battery performance, and in image and video stability.
Some users in India have got the update already some have not . This is being rolled out right now , so if you can’t get an update now, do try later as your product code might not be part of the current rollout

My phone when trying to updtae is showing only update of 12.0.026, when can i update to v 20
I can’t seem to download this. The nokia helpline only says it will be launched soon. Can somebody help me to find the Ver 20 please.

My friends Nokia N97 is updated with Framework v20 but when i try to update still no update available for my mobile.

Hi guys,
I upgraded to version 20 and all bugs are KILLED. I mean the phone is now terrific. No more hanging at all! Battery lasts far longer now. iphone guys don’t show off to me anymore since I too can flick the screen!
Even I couldn’t download, so I went to the Nokia Care centre nearby and since there is this free 3 year extended warranty, the upgrade was done at no cost in 20 mon. Back up your phones before you do this. All the best
