The Nokia E72 is a great E-series handset from the Finnish handset maker and I’m sure that this phone will continue to create records like the E71. The phone was leaked longed back. The E71 is one of the most popular handsets in the market even today and the E72 addresses the drawbacks of this phone pretty much in every department. I had a chance to interact with the Product manager of this phone – Mika Savolainen @ Nokia World. After using the phone for a short duration, the E72 feels like a pumped up E71 for sure.
The 5 MP camera is a much needed upgrade for the E71 whose camera was not up to the mark. We have some camera samples of the E72 coming up, so you can decide for sure. The optical trackpad is something really new and it felt cool to use but might have a slight learning curve associated with the same. The menus were a lot more snappier and the Email integration seemed impressive. Enjoy these pics for now while we work on the Hands on Video .

E52/55 have been announced almost 4-5 months ago and already in stores around the world, why not india?

There is just one small detail that I hate about this phone. Its the combination of the navigational and Querty buttons. In E71 they were both “pillow shaped” but now to make it different and match the E52 they changed the navigational ones to be flat…
They messed it up, big time, first there was E75 and E55 and now with E72 and E52 they over-segmented the market in a record time. I saw E55 and E52 next to each other recently and they look identical, except the typography on numerical keyboard.

i am user of E71 and E90, and i just let go my e90 and now using both phone as E71. i like that phone, if anyone telling me E72 is certainly an advance model, i certainly will fall in it.
i have tried e75….its just not satisfy me the way e71 was…so lets hope e72 another real winner.
