You all might have seen and drolled over the Nokia Booklet 3G which marked the handset maker’s entry into the netbook / laptop business. Now Nokia is reportedly bringing a ARM-Based Smartbook in 2010 according to Taiwan-based handset makers. So what is a smartbook – A smartbook, blend of the words smartphone and netbook, is a mobile device that falls between smartphones and netbooks, delivering features typically found in smartphones (always on, all-day battery life, 3G connectivity,GPS) in a slightly larger device with a full keyboard. (wikipedia)

So is the smartbook going to be a device like the E90 or the un-announced N900 or a full fledged netbook like the Booklet 3G. As handset sales and profit margins are on the downward slopw , Nokia’s decison to go the netbook way is certainly worth appreciating. But is it the right decison  ? Will you buy a Nokia Smartbook or Netbook ?
