For those of you who loved the Nokia Surge introduced by Nokia and AT&T in America, here’s something to be happy about. The Nokia Surge was exclusively for the American market. but Nokia have introduced the Nokia Surge under another name, the Nokia 6760 Slide for the Global Markets. There are also some improvements to the phone.
The features of the Nokia 6760 Slide are:
- 3.2 Mega-pixel Camera
- 2.4″ QVGA (320*240) Display
- Up to 8GB micro-SD Cards (2GB included)
- GPS with A-GPS Support
- Slide Out QWERTY Keyboard
- Bluetooth with A2DP, HSDPA
- Black, Red, White Colours (Some Colours maybe released later)
The 6760 slide will be available during the third quarter of 2009 for 199 euros or Rs.14000 appox before subsidies and taxes.
