Rumor: Nokia to launch new handset lineup C series

The Nokia netbook rumors have started flowing in again . This time in a different fashion. A finnish website points to a recent trademark application by Nokia which hints at a new handset lineup called C Series . We have had N Series and E Series so far and the Enterprise series of phones beat the multimedia lineup in terms of sales for the first time this quarter. Nokia has been pushing many of its high end devices as Mobile Computers and if the C series rumor is true then we might see real computers being offered by Nokia.
We have seen earlier reports indicating the Finnish phone maker’s renewed interest in the Maemo OS . You might have seen the 770 , N800 and N810 Tablets which are powered by Maemo Linux.As the smartphone market is shrinking , many see the netbook market as the next big thing. Is this going to be a new handset lineup from Nokia or a internet tablet lineup only time will tell.
