HTC Hero Android Phone

Here is another phone by HTC called the Hero which runs on the Google Android platform. HTC Hero is the first phone to embody HTC Sense™ – an intuitive, seamless experience built upon three fundamental principles – make it mine, stay close, and discover the unexpected.  The Hero was part of 2009 HTC Handset lineup

The phone features are:

  • 3.2″ Touchscreen (320 x 480 pixels)
  • 112 x 56.2 x 14.35 m, 135g
  • 5 megapixel camerawith Autofocus
  • 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, 512 MB ROM, 288 MB RAM
  • 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD slot, Built-In Accelerometer
  • HSDPA, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS
  • Sense UI, Multi-touch input method, Handwriting Recognition, Trackball
  • MP3/AAC+/WAV/WMA9 player
  • MPEG-4/H.263/H.264/WMV9 player
  • 1350mAH Battery
The Android UI on this phone seems to be newer than cupcake – 1.5.  The phone is coming in July to UK and no word about international availability . Will this phone make Android a Hero amongst mobile platforms ?
