We are at the Nokia N86 8MP Launch event in Chennai. Nokia launched its latest high end camera phone the N86 8MP. The venue had lots of pictures in the entrance, all of them clicked with the same phone itself. We were allowed to play with the phone for a short time and we took tons of pics using the phone. We even compared pics taken by the N82 with the N86 which will be uploaded soon.

Mr. Sridhar from Nokia launched the latest Nokia imaging device in Chennai along with the models.

When we asked Mr.Shridhar if the N86 will replace the N82 in the market, he replied saying they are not pulling the N82 out of the market immediately. There are sufficient stocks of the N82 in the market. N86 8MP will be another phone in Nokia’s top notch Camera phone offerings.

The phone is already at all Nokia outlets in the country and sells at a price of Rs27000.

We have exclusive hands on videos , pics , camera images and video samples coming your way.

It will be up in a few hours !

    But then even sony satio and samsung are coming up . would be interesting to see what they offer

  • Ashok says:

    i have n82 now . should it get n86 ?

  • Ashok says:

    N86 lacks Xenon flash. If that isn’t an issue, got for it!

    IMO, N82 is still the best Nokia camera phone in the market.

    Nothing can excite unless nokia releases an ANDROID version..
    Nokia sells both low end and high only cause of positive reference from its geeky users on geeky phones..
    If waiting is gonna be long, then most geeks gonna migrate elsewhere and then nokia ll lose positive reference and that would be the beginning of the downfall of nokia..

    since 2008 i am waiting for black n82.please tell me, it is launched or to be launched?

  • Siddharth says:

    its sad Nokia chose to launch a “CAMERA PHONE” without a dedicated “XENON” flash. Led flash can not stand in front of xenon flash. I am using a N82 since the month it was launched. I’m looking for a replacement for my N82 … i feel like replacing it with another one! just coz there is nothing that comes close. Dont tell me about samsungs and lgs please

    Nokia give us N86X :) with xenon !! hahah come on

  • Varun says:

    @mann

    The phone is out of stock and new stock is expected to hit stores this week

    @prabhat

    black n82 has been there for long . grab on soon before its production is stopped

    @Siddarth

    N86X hehe .. I was hoping N86 had a xenon flash but then N86 does perform well in lowlight , cant say if it matches the N82. We have a detailed review coming up soon.
