What makes your internet experience more personal and becomes what you are on the move? You might have heard about Widgets and even used them on your computer. But Nokia N97 brings the same widgets to your mobile homescreen. The widgets make your Internet experience more personal. They allow you to stay online Live , 24×7. Imagine getting your latest emails , weather and photos all on your phone’s homescreen automatically.
Most Widgets need an active internet connection to work, but stuff like music player work even offline. The N97 comes with lot of widgets loaded but you can download more from the Ovi Store or even build one if you are interested in Nokia WebRunTime.

Some interesting applications are Facebook , Nokia Messaging , Hi5 , Ovi Share.Also at the N97 india launch event we were told that lot of India centric Widgets and applications are also going to come preloaded on the N97.

now, you dont need to start up the browser and log into your facebook or orkut account evertime you want to check out your mail or status updates on your friends. You can now receive direct feeds onto your home screen about weather, mail, updates on friends, and even access apps. directly from your home screen.

i am using n96 from sep 08, now wanna use n97
i am using an E90 (red) for about an year now….. if better I might even buy this device if I didn’t win even if it costs Rs. 40k. Or even better to wait for a few more months if Nokia announced a new smart phone communicator in there upcoming line-up.

I am using NOKIA N73 since 1.5 years. i am not able to open any documents. So, I want to go for Business phone. I think N97 is a best option for me. Also, i am very much excited to use this mobile phone.

on 15th i tried to submit my answer “WIDGETS” on the graphic shown above but didn’t work and i got a error message “invalid email id”. I dont know why it was happened but next 3days are okay for me.
I have been contesting everyday and answering every question. will i be considered for the contest as my answer was not updated through graphics.
anyway fonearena is my favourite blog site and i like this type of contests but it would have been better if you could draft questions pertaining to N-Series history along with new N97 features.
