Nokia E72 which got officially announced few hours back has already found a fan following . Folks from Singapore were lucky to attend the Nokia Connection event. Interstingly Connecting People is the tagline of the Finnish phone maker and event name too reflects the same.

We think the E72 would eventually replace its sibling the E71 . what do you think ? Will you trade your E71 for the E72 ? Check out the pics and videos after the jump and decide .

Few pics are from vr-zone who were present at the launch event. A buggedlife has some interesting comparison photos of the E72 vs E71. Looks like this was a Singapore only event. Nokia seems to unveil new handsets in a new fashion each time round.  All these photos are from our friends in SG. Some cool pics by Twitterers budip and davidlia show the E72’s display and navikey.

Nokia E72 Videos

Here is a Video overview of the Eseries phone from Nokia Conversations which had posted a video unintentionally yesterday

I would ONLY consider E72 if it’s free of its major firmware bugs. YES bugs! Sold my E65 and got me the E75 less then 2 weeks and the email functions DOES NOT WORK! WTF!! Many ppl around the world are facing similar if not same issues with this phone.

E75 was taunted to be “THE” business phone with much emphasis on its email capabilities and now what I have is a dumb paper weight!

Anyone care to buy it off me????

Bottom line, pls wait for the reviews before you buy it. For all you know it may me another paper weight in the making. Just do a google “problem with Nokia E75″ etc.. you’d be amazed the amount of issues is has.

Likewise, do the same with E72 1-2 month after its launch. Some ppl were actually more happy with the E71 compared to the E75.

I should have just got me the blackberry. True the BB may not have all the bells and whistles like the Nokia but what’s the point when half of the DON’T work!?
