I don’t think these images give the true picture, as IQDin said I definitely think that the lens has some fingerprint or smudge marks.

Comparing these with my own shots I did wonder if there was some a small trace of grease e.g. finger print on the lens cover glass. I have seen this many times and this is reminiscent of those kind of shots. Obviously without being able to see the product and be able to do proper apples with apples comparison shots it’s hard to comment any further.
