Samsung has just announced their new phone, the M8910 Pixon which is their first 12MP cameraphone. It will also be the first 12Mp phone to release in the market and will release sometime this month itself! The release is before the Sony Ericsson Satio (Idou) 12MP phone.
The features at a glance are:
- 12Mp Camera-4000×3000 pixels, wide 28mm lens, autofocus, xenon flash, Power LED flash, Touch autofocus tracking, Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, wide dynamic range, Smart Auto mode, Video Recording (D1(720×480)@30fps)
- AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 480 x 800 pixels, 3.1 inches
- Dimensions- 108 x 53 x 13.8 mm, 120grams
- 150MB Internal Memory with micro-SD card slot
- Wi-Fi, GPS, HSDPA, Bluetooth
- Video- DivX/XviD/H.263/H.264/WMV/MP4
- Audio-MP3/eAAC+/WMA/AMR
The phone is expected to be launched in June in Europe and by August worldwide. The pricing is yet to be announced.
