Adobe Flash Lite Gets Updated to Version 3.1 on Nokia 5800

Adobe Flash for the Nokia 5800 just got updated to version 3.1

The new Flash Lite update has brought along these changes:

  • Improved Web Browsing.
  • Support for Flash 9 (Action Script 2.0).
  • Local Connection / HTML Text / GetURL_target / CSS support / WMode.
  • H.264 support which means improved video support.
  • Improved Memory handling for images.
  • Support for Streaming MP3’s.
  • Support for Hardware acceleration. Flash Lite 3.1 now supports OpenVG 1.1 to improve flash rendering performance on capable devices.
  • Linux Reference port.

    • To update the Flash version on your Nokia 5800, Just Open the built-in application updater (Menu -> Applications -> App. Update) on your phone and select Adobe Flash 3.1.
