Airtel partners with AeroMobile to Introduce In-flight Calling

According to reports, Bharti Airtel, India’s larges mobile operator, has recently tied up with AeroMobile, an in-flight solutions company that will help Airtel’s customer to make and receive calls while on board international flights.

Well, as its a new and innovative service by an Indian telecom operator, its obvious that the in-flight calling rates will be very high. According to Bharti Airtel, the incoming and outgoing calls in-flight would cost Rs. 24 and Rs. 188 respectively while an SMS sent will cost Rs. 41.incoming SMS will be Free.

Also, reports confirm that, initially the service will not be available in the Indian Air space and will be introduced in the overseas air space where regulatory permissions has been approved.
