If you are frequent twitter user and want to update your status and use your twitter account on the move, then Gravity might grab your attention.

The app was released on March 30th and its available for download on the mobileways.de website which is the German company behind the app.

Most twitter users use m.twitter.com or slandr or dabr to tweet from their mobile phone.

But a native application is always great for any purpose

This app is currently available for S60 3rd Edition and S60 5th Edition phones.

We tested on a Nokia 5800 and Nokia E71

video after the jump .

Interesting Features

  • Kinetic Scrolling on 5800
  • Multiple twitter / laconica account support
  • Photo posting or Twitpicking is supported
  • Bandwidth Usage Indicator
  • Use Replies / Direct Messages / Favorites
  • Folow and Unfollow
  • Search and track upto 2 terms
  • Monitor Twitter Trends.
  • GPRS/ WiFI support
  • Disable Images to save Bandwidth

I have been using the app for the last 24 hrs on the nokia 5800 and im certainly loving the mobile twittering experience.

There’s a free trial download available and you can try the app for 10 days for free ..

Pros

  • Multiple Account Support
  • Touchscreen Support and Scrolling
  • Photo Posting
  • Search
  • Easy to use / Great User Interface.

Cons

  • Drains Battery when on extended use. May be a phone problem or app problem dunno the answer yet
  • A bit unstable – since is Version1 of the app – crashed about 2 times so far
  • Not Free

Conclusion

If you are looking forward to a premium twittering experience on your S60 phone and regret not having an iphone,

Then this app is worth purchasing . Available at a price of Rs.500 / $10 the software is not too expensive or not too cheap.
