The Apple insider blog has come up with a news that iPhone will now be sold on unrestricted quantities without being locked to any specific network or service provider. Though there were jail broken iPhones already available across different parts of the world, but Apple has now made it official and will be selling unlocked contract fee iPhones officially.

According to reports, this move has been initiated to clear the bulk stock of iPhones to prepare for the launch of new iPhone coming in june this year

So, there is some good news coming in for Apple loyalists

  1. AT&T stores in USA are selling phones for $599 and $699 without a 2 year contract
  2. iPhone lovers may see new iPhone launch after a few months

Isn’t $599  or R.s30000 too much for a contract free iphone ?

Also not much clarity if these phones will be locked to at&t ’s network
