"Nokia is opening an application store to stream revenue into the company.."

I don't know what did you want to say frankly. Nokia does this to stay relevant in U.S. and other developed countries where their market share is falling miserably in recent years. The alternative for Nokia is to make all money in China and India charging for entry-level phones, and abandon the smartphone market where the name of the game is called "content" (not just calls, sms and ringtones). This is a disaterous strategy in the long run. I am glad they finally woke up.

Either way it's great for indie software companies (like myself) to get their foot in the door with serious customers. Before such stores small software companies had to pray to get a publishing deal than pray to get atleast 5% of sales after costs! I know I will be making apps for BOTH phones and can not wait to see how customers feel about my software!

But ya great quick run down, and I will be checking you blog again for more posts like this one! Keep it up.
