Sony Ericsson today announced Idou which is it’s new high-end device, on the lines of Xperia but is powered by Symbian Foundation OS. Idou has a 12.1-Megapixel camera, with Xenon flash and a large 16:9 Touchscreen.
As of now we know Idou or I do U as a concept / codename of a phone. It might be the model of the phone itself.
Its a phone running Symbian OS .. Will nokia get new competition ?
Then handset is expected to be available in 2nd half of 2009

IF this continues…i mean the pixels of the camera in sets…then who need the camera anyway?i think, after reading varun,IDOU will surpass the xperia but not on all aspects.

i guess if W995 is arnd 30k.. and experia a bit higher.. Idou will cost anywhere b/w 30 n 50 k

its cost is around 28000
Vinit it cannot be 28,000 by any chance Samsung i850 that is 8MP and the cost for that is 51,000 so this 12MP phone cannot be for 28,0000 by any chance
The idou will have a 12 mp camera with xenon flash and all thosee wonderful feature of smile recognition and face detection.Its fully 3g enabled and will give u speeds upto 7.2 Mbps
It should hit the markets by August..
I HOPE THE COAT IS AROUND 30000.I WOULD BUY THE HAND SET IF IT’S UNDER 30000.
