Nokia 5630 XpressMusic : Nokia has announced the 5630 XpressMusic as its the latest entrant to its XpressMusic family , which is really slim at a thickness of a mere 11 mm and weighs just 83g and its the most sleek N-Gage phone
It shares a lot of features of the Nokia 5800 [specs] [unboxing]
Its unusually loaded with a lot of features which you would not expect in a music phone.
To sum it up its a great entertainment device . Lets get into more details
Music
It features a great Music player with dedicated keys. Its part of the “Comes With Music ” program.
(Dont know when it will come to India though)
It ships with a 4GB memory card and can be upped to 16 gigs .. (thank u nokia for using cheap memory unlike sony)
It has the ’say and play’ feature which gives you freedom from using the keyboard.
Also is has a 3.5m stereo AV jack so, you can plug in any earphone be it bose seinheiser ..
There stereo Bluetooth , stereo Radio FM and Internet radio too.
S60
Surprisingly its not a music phone but a full fledged smart phone powered by S60 platform, S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 to be precise . One thing missing is touchscreen . But it carries a new homescreen contacts bar for easy access to you contacts and personal information
N-Gage Gaming
Its the second non-nseries handset to support n-gage.
With a 600Mhz CPU , you can expect really fast gaming on the move ..
I cant wait to test ngage games on this phone !
Camera and Video
This phone sports a 3.2 MegaPixel Camera with Dual LED Flash, autofocus and supports video recording also.
Its got USB Charging which means you can charge the phone via your computer , no need of a power point

Its expected to be available in select countries for around Rs.12500 starting from next quarter of 2009.

I’ve been waiting for this release too.
Too bad Ishita heard it was going to be priced around 20k. I thought it was going to be for 12k or something. 
But, if the prices are going to be around 13k then this is going to be another popular phone.

and the price would be in 12 -13k. not more than that.
i like the phone, amazing features .. not new for a nokia fone .. it has a smallish looking screen though.
Nokia 5530 is also a great option considering you get a touch screen for a small price of around 14k !
i had bought 5320 a few months back and i am thinking of replacing it with either one of these babies !

Read somewhere in net, that 5630 would be around 12500, also checked in Univercell, Chennai, they were also confirming around 12500 as the price for 5630 and 5530, the replica of 5800 would be around 14000, but the advantage the 5630 has over 5530 is that it is 3G mobile whereas 5530 is not, two other series are also coming, 5330, slide model around 10000 and 5730 around 19000 and the look of 5730 express music is just like S710 of HTC

I really dont think that 5630 will be released in India. 5630 has been released in the International market in Jun and still doesn’t appear on the Coming Up section of Nokia India website. Whereas, 5530 which was released internationally just last week has been there in the Coming Up section since more than a month back.
Nobody seems to be disagreeing with me. What about all those claims of it being released on 15th Aug?!!!
