Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Firmware Update – v20.0.012

Just hot on the heals after announcing the first firmware update version 11 for the Nokia 5800 Nokia have taken the logs directly to Firmware version v20.0.012. This is the latest firmware version that is available for Nokia 5800 users via the NSU.
The firmware update brings about native geotagging of your photos. This new firmware re-enables the feature that allows the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to save location information from the phone’s GPS receiver to your photos, so that you can browse them by location on Flickr or Share on Ovi.
Some possible change logs from users around the world suggest the following though a detailed log is not yet available :
- HaloOx hack is working
- gallery opens real fast this time…even with my 966 songs and 433 images
- gps tag added in camera options, second camera is now working
- New music and download icons
- touch sensitiveness is improved
- flash application now got D-pad
- web is same
- Mass storage XP window crashing semi fixed…..crashes some time but not that much right now…in Vista works well
- 3 new application is added call “app.update”(in application menu) and “Dictionary” and Search(for files and media in storage and web)
- Bass effect is not shaking….(full bass mode)
- now flash videos content got zooming,full screen,and pann on screen option
- video playback is same -nothing new
- screen rotation is much faster this time
- voice recorded files not showing in the “sound clips” folder= Fixed
- New Home screen editing option!
- dial buttons are bigger now than before
Bugs

- When changing lock code ..it give some kind of error…. But lock code is changing ..
- when using myphone 2.03.1 it shows D-pad…. But no option to remove that…. A bit sad about that…So there is no full screen for myphone2.03.1
This update also adds the option to choose which plugins are shown on the Active Standby home screen. Unfortunately, there are no additional plugins, so it’s still rather useless.

really, i hear about this firmware v20.0.012 for 2 weeks.I tried so hard but i can’t update for my Nokia 5800 XM, Why? Why? Why?

Yes . vs 20 firmware looks like its not enabled for india.

hi friends,the firmware update for 5800 is really cool,it improved many sides of phone,maim are the 2nd camera is now usable,u tube is now as fine as possible,orentation sencors now work much more quick,touch is now as sencetive as i phone,gallery is now loading ver fastly!↲

i wanna update my phone too but i”m afraid of that, i dont wanna send my imei to chinese website to hack my phone, and im still waiting some1 to hack 5800 too, like n95 n96 , but i heard that the hacked version is always first version without update, does any1 have any idea ?
i have upgraded the firmware v20 yesterday only,it has lack the so call bass boost upgradation and after upgrading no tab for see call list or anything how can one see the call log then & ever since i got this phone while surfing the specific sites it close and comes out of explorer automatically does anyboy have solution for this.
