Its was first Apple to bring the App Store , then came Google with Android Market , then Blackberry.

Now Nokia is all set to launch its own version of App Store in MWC 2009 in Barcelona this week.

Nokia App Store will be mainly be a market place for S60 apps.

The news broke out on mobile-review founder Eldar Murtazin blog

At first glance, for now, the app portal looks so so, there is some confusion. But they are trying, polishing it and a lot has changed for the better in a matter of days. A right step in a right direction… And the distribution and revenue sharing model between app makers and Nokia looks very attractive.

According to him App store is already being testing by many users and is in a closed beta

Getting Applications for Symbian phones is really hard . One has to search so much before finding a free app that suits our needs. This move might solve our problem and help us find apps easily.

Hope Nokia categorizes apps the way Apple does.

Lets wait for the official announcement
