Nokia launches 6700 6303 and 2700 Classic

Nokia announced three new mid-range and low range camera phones: the Nokia 6700 classic, the Nokia 6303 classic and the Nokia 2700 classic.
The Nokia 6700 classic, which continues the legacy of one of the company’s most successful products, the Nokia 6300.
All the 3 phone are powered by Nokia S40 Platform
“Our new arrival shares the same ‘DNA’ as its predecessor and we believe that it will be one of our best selling devices in 2009,” said Soren Petersen, SVP, Nokia.
The Nokia 6700 comes with a 5 megapixel camera, assisted GPS navigation with Nokia Maps. Nokia gives an an estimated retail price of INR 15000, before taxes and subsidies
At an estimated retail price of INR 9000, before taxes and subsidies, the Nokia 6303 classic has a 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.2 inch screen, pre-loaded Nokia Maps and standard 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Nokia 2700 classic comes with am estimated price tag of INR 4200 before taxes and subsidies. It is one of Nokia’s most affordable phones.It’s real value for money as its very affordable yet not poor on features . Its got a 2 MP Camera , Music support and even a 3.5mm jack .. The display is a nice 2 inches and sports a 240×320 resolution . Memory is expandable by microSD card
All three devices are expected to ship in the second quarter of 2009.

Becoz the Nokia website still shows as it “Comming Soon”
2700 is still not available in market. I checked at various Nokia dealers and web sites. Still 1 more week to wait for release.

I have purchased Nokia 2700 Classic and upgraded to 2GB memory (default is 1 gb) for 5000/- Rs (withoutupgrade it is 4700) from Bangalore – BTM Nokia Priority Shop.
Amazing phone. Really worth value for money, far better than Nokia 5130 with its looks and price.
Only drawback thing is, in the package, there is no data cable available. Dont buy Nokia data cable from shop. It cost you 450/- Rs (very expensive for a small cable..). But if you take from outside (china version) it costs you 120 Rs/- only and works fine.
But the phone is really worth a buy. I can guarantee you that.

I bought 2700 classic yesterday and found its looks amazing and image qlty is bit blurred at some times. Music is good with earphone but with loudspkrs not upto the mark. FM not tried out yet. Got this phone with 1gb for 4900 bucks. Plus a silver coin dnt know its worth yet.
