The Sony Ericsson portfolio for India has been rather bleak with their last release being the Xperia X1 couple of weeks ago, and looking upon the global arena, there has not been any as well. Finally, SE have announced a walkman branded version of their F305 phone which is dubbed a gaming phone. It is Code named as “YAO” and the release number is w395.
It specs in the same as F305, which means the phone comes with :
176×220 screen, 2.0-Mp camera, etc.
W395 will be announced as soon as possible. Forecasted release date will be in April 2009. There is also one imaging version of F305, but it will be announced and released later.

IT sounds like f305 doesnt has a walkman which the w395 has?!if its true then, as the company observes, the set will hit the market because of its walkman brand.to showcase it as the gaming device is interesting but not sufficient.jsr184(m3g) , mascot capsule v3.0 are enough for a mobile to turn it into a 3d gaming set.but impressing effect is the flavor-motion sensor(jsr 256) that the sets supports aswell. but gaming in mobiles means associated buttons which should be moved in the horizontal of the lcd screen or the lcd screen should be moved in the horizontal.and the buttons should be solid!
SE F305 PURCHASED ON 1.1.2009. PHONE IS VERY GOOD FOR GAMES AND MUSIC. BUT TWO IMPORTANT THINGS ARE MISSING. YOU CANNOT TURN THE PHOT0. HANDS FREE PROVIDED WITH THE SET ARE SUB STANDARD. IT DOES NOT HAVE ORIGINAL SE GREEN LOGO ON THE EARPIECES AND THERE IS NO OPTION TO RECEIVE/TALK THE THE CALL IN THE HANDSFREE CORD .
