Now you can access the tons of information Wikipedia on your mobile phone through the Wikipedia Mobile Website which made its to the news last month

The website takes into account the problems of reading on the go  and has split large articles into multiple pages.

But the fun part is that that bloggers around the world made it a big news

I got in touch with the Wikipedia team and here is the reply i got

1.How long has the mobile website been operational ?

This site has been up for a number of years.  Contrary to the media coverage its currently getting, it isn’t new.  It seems actually that one or more media outlets discovered the site and may have implied that we just launched it, or that it was a new addition.  This is not the case.

So how many of you use wikipedia on your mobile ?
