Nokia E63 is the low cost version of the E71 . This E-Series phone was announced just in Nov 2008
The E63 has small minor differences in the front .. Its got a more box like rectangular body the e71 is sleekier ..
The spacebar is shorter and there are 2 extra keys on the last row ..
While it might be cheaper by a couple of thousand bucks or the more . the e63 is very thick compared to e71
on the left top is the hot swap memory card slot and the usb port
The right side is empty .. no volume keys ..
The E63 retails for Rs.15000 and is one of the most affordable Eseries handsets from Nokia
Its got a less powerful camera and simple looks ..

i think that e63 is batter than the e71 that is economical deal. Rs. 7000 prise diffirence is very very large that is only for gps and 3.2 mega pi. camera. that amount is very very large for it so e63 is 101% greater than e71. e63 has all latest business future that like e71. e63 nice one………………. wow
my e63 box says 2 megapixel auto focus camera!!!how do i start it

nokia always play smart and compete within itself , e63 and e71 all business faetures are same execpt for agps,3 mega pixel and steel body features but then choice matters with prices aswell , if e71 would not have launched before e 63 there would have very less demand for e 71.

actually nokia launched e63 after e71 coz lot of users were complaining about the high price of the e71
E 63 is as good as E 71. It has got all the features of E 71 except GPS which is not of use as well. Rs. 7000 difference is not less yaar. just go for it.
Nokia E63 is an amazing smartphone having almost all features a user would desire specially internet and bussiness features.Its affordable in comparision to other costlier phones having similar features.The WIFI feature is really wonderful having very fast connectivity and surfing the internet is as smooth as on a laptop. Its having a good CPU(369MHz) and RAM(128MB). Its only drawback is that its lacks GPS.
E63 is much better than E91 it not only due to features or price but also many software like t9nav not supported by E91 but it support by E63

E 63 is a good choice. I saw someone saying that gps is not supported in e 63 but it is there in e63. Also much cheaper than e 71 and has got the same features except for the camera megapixels !!!
The E63 has been introduced as an ‘Economy’ version of the E71. The features are pretty much the same except for certain cosmetics and basic stuff like Camera, Body, etc. The price difference is vast but having used both phones, I would suggest the E71 is more sturdy-built and ‘fully-loaded’ leaving lesser reasons for you to upgrade your phone anytime sooner you would have if you’re using the E63.
E63 is a gr8 phone. I have bought a couple of weeks before. I hae worked with E71 whihc is almost the same and the cost is higher than E63. Also we have GPS facility in E63 for whihc we have to insatall a s/w then it would work. Once again E63 is a Gr8 phone to work with

I saw that u caould enable GPS in ur E63, how did you do that..? which navigation are you using.. Just wanted to clear a few questions on E63 ‘fore I go for it..

I dont think E63 has GPS hardware, what MAC may be refering to is Cell tower triangulation method of detecting location.
This is available to any phone that can run Google maps.
So , if you want accurate location then E63 is not for you.

actually try e 71 den re register ur exp. e 63 is good but e71 is perfect for smart users
NOKIA E 63 IS GOOD…FOR USING & ABOUT PRICE..NEW PRICE OF E63 IS 11.3 ONLY..
The center scroll (square)key also work as volume controller, to increase vol. Press up and to decrease vol. Press down
Has anybody observed an important feature?? the buttons of E63 are borader than E 71,so less chances of slipping and mistakes while typing. This is the one feature which was the decision making feature while making selection between E63, E71 and Blackberry. I finalised E63.
These are the features that i think are
better in e63 that a lot of ppl miss:
1)3.5mm audio jack.(Since the e63 was launched later nokia had time to install a few basic things that they carelessly forgot in e71)
2)Torch light function via the flash.(Really not imp but still comes in handy)
3)Although a lot of ppl think the e63 plastic is not that good, i find it better then the e71 steel body cos
-No irritating finger print marks.
-the handset is not cold while holding in the winters.
And for all those think that the steel ads better shock resistance to the inside of the phone must try this:
Take a steel glass and a put ur fist in it.then bang it against a wall.
Now try the same with a plastic glass.
Bet ur hand hurts more with the steel glass.
Its simple physics that plastic is a better shock absorber than steel as it takes most of the impact o itself.
Hence the interiors of the phone are safer in a plastic casing>
NOKIA E-63 IS VERY DASHING THAN E-71
SO I LIKE ITS COLOURS & FEATURES
E-63 is a nice pick in terms of price and usage, it is for those who were used to carry their laptop for the sake of extracting exact figures out of their excel sheet, so keep your important data sheet in it and leave your laptop when really not required.
Whether its E-63 or E-71, I’ll not suggest any of these two phones to those, who had to talk a lot. So, keep a spare phone for gossiping long as to keep these phones holding while talking is a pain when you have to talk continuously for 30 minutes.
