Sony Ericson Xperia X1 & HTC Touch HD Fusion

Amongst all eagerly awaited Windows Mobile devices, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and the HTC Touch HD take the crown as the most interesting, innovative and promising handsets. Luckily, both of them run a cool layer on top of Windows Mobile 6 to avoid users frequent interaction with that horrible and outdated interface. The Xperia X1 has the 9 panels system and the Touch HD has the TouchFLO 3D, both of which allow for a huge set of shortcuts to different Windows Mobile functions, in a finger-friendly designed interface.

But if there is one thing we really appreciate about Windows Mobile, it’s its customizability, and the ability to access, extract and modify any file in its system folders. This is why it’s possible to run the Xperia panels on an HTC Touch HD and the TouchFLO 3D on the Sony Ericson Xperia. Quite an enticing thought, don’t you think? Are you interested in one of these two devices? And now that you have the option to run their UIs on the same handset, which one would you pick? I think the Xperia touchscreen is much more responsive than that of the HD, but the HD screen seems to be dead gorgeous with that resolution.
