dear friends/fone arena,

i have used 5800 and also got hands on ipone 3g.. as far as touch screen is concerned i guess nokia is far behind... i own htc 3400 which costs just rs 9600/- but believe me nokia has yet not done a similar job in touch screen. htc's touch screen is multitouch and when you use your fingure on the screen you do not feel like the screen is trying to resist your figures but you would love to use your fingers on the screen.
iphone also has a multi touch screen and that works awsome.. nokia needs to launch low price touch screen mobile handsets.

@Vijay

I agree that Apple want to remain a niche brand.

And sadly I the 5800 will NOT be available for Diwali

No!! I don't think so....even after getting a tough competition Apple will not lower iphone's prices...apple inc doesn't want that every 2nd person in a mall...having fun on iphone...apple is very much satisfied..with their current sales...but definitely NOKIA 5800 is an answer to iphone ..& it will be a great hit in indian market because of its brand name, features(missing in iphone), & best of all..the Price...sub Rs 20,000...even myself....i had waited for iphone for its official launch in india...but felt cheated when the announced price..& now i am looking forward to NOKIA 5800 .....surely i'll buy 1....one more thing..if they would release it even earlier somewhere..prior to festival "dhan teras" in india..NOKIA will have even higher sales..(November sales will be as usual)
