Nokia just unveiled its iPhone competitor Nokia 5800 XpressMusic minutes ago at Nokia Remix London.
We guessed it right as we covered the leaked pictures of this touch phone from Nokia
October 2nd was supposed to be the launch of the device
Code named ‘Tube’ and seen in the Dark Knight movie , this phone has been creating a lot of buzz

we would buy it ..but when it would be available in india?
No news from Nokia on the India launch of the Nokia 5800. It is coming to Europe in the Q4 of 2008 and in US in 09 so most probably it will be in India by the end of 2008, might be december. Nokia would launch it quickly in India to capitalize on the failure of iPhone mainly due to iPhone’s pricing.
Under 20k would make this most desirable touchscreen phone in India, it certainly has all the advanced features. Even higher battery rating means more time to play around with phone and more fun… I’m definitely looking for launch date of this phone in India…Other competitors should watch this carefully.

why so much importance has been given to music in Nokia 5800. Most people expect teenagers, use mobile as a phone/business phone. Anyway, when it will be available in india? Will it cost under 20K or it will disappoint people like iphone.
