Samsung launched its fully-loaded handset, Samsung Omnia (SGH-i900), in the Indian market recently. A touch phone that features Samsung’s patented TouchWiz user interface is a stylish and fully loaded handset that could be tough competition to some HTC touch phones.

That’s a whopping amount for Indian buyers and surely the handset will find few takers in the hi-tech & hi cost market segment.

Drawback – It’s using Windows Mobile
I found Samsung Omnia (i900) the real iKiller, but as they say that every Killer has its price and its not an exception…Great Phone!!!
It uses the best operating system ever made for mobile phones…Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro
Bought both iPhone and samsung omnia(due to much hype only) decided to return this samsung crap.
already spoke to retaile, he agreed for 15% restocking fees.
Go and check iPhone & Samsung omnia side by side, you will see samsung omnia ’stouch screen is big joke
Also iPhone beats samsung’s multimedia capabilites by 100000 miles.
pratical example : copy .wmv fvideo ile on omnia and play , you will laugh, it plays like photo slide show.
Actually I was sold on Omnia’s camera, camera is certainly better than iPhone.

I have this phone since last 2 months. I bought it from Singapore. This is the real Iphone Killer. I have iphone since January 2008.
Frankly Speaking, People are used to use touch screen with their fingers. But Samsung is nail touch screen. You cannot compare both if u use either on their touch screen.
Feature wise, samsung is just the complete package. You dont need to look anything else… there is no comparison between iphone and omnia. both are built on different platform. iphone is purely for entertaining and funky users. But Samsung Omnia is for serious high-end users..

I am planning to go for samsung omnia.It seems all features are fantastic presently iam using k750i sony ericsson
