I got this email from Vodafone today which released the prices of the iPhone.
Apple products don’t come cheap.
But how many of you will pay 31,000 for an iphone ?
I don’t think its affordable to most people . Also 3G does not make any sense in the indian context.
Vodafone has released the prices but still no news from my provider Airtel
Please leave a comment on your thoughts about the pricing for the iphone in india.

Vodafone s*** i dnt understand which iphone they r selling at Rs31000 dimaag sark gaya hey sa**o ka …i was jst thoughting dat the maximum price will be abt15000 but this is double than my expectations now my hopes r on airtel lets c wat they will say abt price
I dont think Airtel will be priced too far off from Vodafone. At the end of the day, all these companies work hand-in-glove with eachother.
But yea, we really thought that the iPhone will be affordable! 31 grand is a luxury, esp for the features.
Hi friends bad news to iphone lovers airtel also sells iphone at the price of $715
Iphone may stop thinking about big sales in india its finished here date of death of iphone announced on 22august ppl of india please visit vodafone to pay your regards to sad demise of iphone thats all i can say after the said price
Dissoppointment of my life till date…..no words to explain the pain of this pricing.. really hurted me and switching back to the galore of NOKIA phones. Happy death day of Iphone in india.
Really, the price is very disappointing.
Highest expected price was not more than 18000 by most of us.
It seems like a marketing policy and hope that the prices will drop drastically in future.
Well I too was shocked when I read these prices on UTVi (http://utvi.myrecourl.com) , but according to internal news, it isnt these service provider companies (Airtel and Vodafone) that are making this Iphone pricey. But its the price decided by Apple. And moreover Apple wants a share of every connection that Iphone gets, so overall Iphone is being sold at much higher price than expected
Waste yaar….. 31000 is too much I expected it arround 10000…. Nobody will buy this….
Friends, just wait for some time the price of iphone will fall drastically in just few months..it may cost abt rs 10,000. this is comn business technique…..ex: in the initial days of nokia 1100 it was 5,500 and now it is <1,500. so just wait..
fu*k ur mouth apple .ur going to f**k .every indian going to to*let over ur phone .my old inner wear came in market 21Aug at 51,000 rs .if want 2 buy visit near show-room
Apple iPhone is a great phone but Apple should have thought before putting a price tag of Rs. 31,000 to it. If you have read the news, there were hardly any buyers at the grand launch of this phone. In Gurgaon there were just 5 buyers, in mubai there were 10. I am sure Nokia and others who must have had a big laugh.
I think this is where Steve Jobs fails compared to Bill Gates. He is a great innovator but does not see that he can make much more if he can get numbers in worlds second larget mobile market. Duffer is the right word for him.
