Purchased this phone 10 days ago and i would like to say that this one is the worst phones i have ever seen in my life. The software part of the phone is what really dissappoints me. Also, the phone have already broken and now i have to waste my time getting it fixed.

Starting with the good things, i purchased the phone for 2 major reasons…
    1) The FM radio is really good and voice clearity of the hands free is great.
    2) It was a a better offer as per the money value.

I purchased the phone is a real hurry just because of the above two reasons and the name of the LG which i trusted for many years. Thus i completely overlooked the other phone features and later realized that i have made a big mistake buying that phone. As i mentioned, it was all because of software of the phone. The overall working on the phone is really slow and irritating as the software design is absolutely unprofessional. Ok its a low budget phone and i cant expect much from it, but still, atleast it should be a decent software. I have used even cheaper phones from samsung and the software quality is 10 times better than this one. I am so annoyed with this already that i am thinking of changing it even if it costs me some money. The feature of msg counter is completely missing which is a must for a vodafone connection, this is something which is not according to standards of gprs phones. Other things that annoy me are – no feature of watching the duration of call, no name of the sender in the recieved msg, no feature of multi send sms, recent call list is not functioning properly. The worst part is that you have to access the options menu everytime you open some item, even with the shortcut menu items. This makes overall browsing much slower and irritating.

And now talking about the faults. The built in watch has stopped working. It is dead. The recent call list is also arranging itself every now and then. and offcourse the lack of msg counter is something which will qualify under bugs.

My opinion, dont go for the phone only if you waht to save some money. The price is cheap, but the software is even of cheaper quality. Samsung phones are better in low-end range.

And for the LG guys, if you are really concerned about the success of this product, then release a software update as soon as possible. And if you care to do that, i will be the first one who will get is updated. Do inform me about that…..

    You said it right..
The only good thing abt the phone is its radio..
But i am having some more problems regarding that..
First, you cant do anything else while listening to radio… Every other phone i know lets you type msgs or roam about in the phone while the radio is on in the background.. but this one dont allow you do so.. So if you are an SMS freak, you should simply ignore (the only good) radio feature of the phone…
other problem comes with the handsfree.. They are breaking down just after a month of its purchase.. sometimes i have to fold and curl them around to get them working… just like we do with the old leads… I wonder how much annoying it is going to be for me with those handsfree after some time…

Really bad phone.. Dont buy it..
