The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Friday said it was in favour of implementing nationwide ‘mobile number portability’ (MNP) by June 2009. It has now asked the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to select an operator who will be licensed for providing and operating end-to-end MNP solution.

Apple has released the SDK beta 4 for the iPhone. This will be given to the registered developers who are already working on the previous SDKs released by Apple. Slowly but steadily, Apple is going mainstream and creating a buzz with its 3G iPhone and then providing support to third part or external developers.
