India to become 2nd largest Mobile market

India is an emerging market or should it be called as a market, which has emerged as a winner in many areas. This time India is all set to take over the mighty (?) US in terms of number of mobile subscribers. According to TRAI, India will become number 2 after China by April 2008 when it comes to number of mobile subscribers. India is the world’s most attractive market when it comes to mobile phones and with its phenomenal growth rate India will certainly surpass China in the near future. The mobile sector today is more consumer centric with passing of benefits to the consumer and giving mobile value added services. All these factors are working positively towards the growth on Indian mobile subscribers. US here we come…
