Samsung is known for coming out with stuff, which nobody can imagine. First the company came out with a concept phone, which has a 10 mega-pixel camera embedded in it and now Samsung has launched the world’s thinnest Camera CMOS module, which can be easily used in today’s camera phones. This one’s a 8 mega-pixel camera module and will start shipping in the later half of 2008 and it might happen that by the starting of next year you might find mobile phones being launched, which have this camera module. The module also has appropriate shutter features. Sometimes I thing that in the coming 2 to 3 years the mobile phone companies will give camera companies like Nikon and Canon a run for their money…ok ok not Canon or Nikon….but yeah people like Sony and Casio who also make cameras might suffer.
