Well all of you reading this having a Nokia Gps enabled handset., Well folks its time for you to Start your updating mode. well your gps navigation experience just got better., if not best. Nokia unveiled the latest and most polished version of its not so perfect Nokia Maps 2.0( it still is the best).

well we are all familiar with the car mode as we have been using it for a while. well for walkers who love to do window shopping and gaze around the beauty of the metropolis Nokia has been kind enough as it has made an addition to the car mode that the existing users will be familiar with, 2.0 adds “Walk,” a new mode tailored to pedestrian use. Another new feature is the ability to purchase “multimedia guides” for destinations that hook you up with photo, video, and audio streams that detail places to go and things to see on your magical journey. Maps 2.0 also adds real-time traffic information and hybrid satellite views, a feature similar to Google Maps. The beta is available immediately, while a final cut is expected to be available in the second quarter of the year.

Also nokia maps v2.0 will soon be available for symbian series 40 devices. So its celebration time for all nokia fans in a span of 6 months
