ADVERTISEMENTS

Is Nokia getting sloppy with its handset production, or is the entire list of faulty components just a bad dream? As if the battery issue was not enough, Nokia E90 seems to come with several other drawbacks, some of them serious enough to endnokiae90hasseriousmicrocu2.jpg

anger its production.

Many newly Nokia E90 Communicator owners have complained about microphone problems and scratches on the internal screen due to the keyboard. Such situations must have been overlooked in the development stage, as they are actually the result of minor slips. Moreover, an EMEA network operator which has been selling the E90 last month registered a 70 percent return rate. That’s a huge number which shows that there is the device has serious problems to solve before daring to show its face to customers again.

The main problem that Nokia E90 owner have faced with their device was related to background noises affecting the quality of phone calls. The reason for this was a defective part in the smartphone’s microphone. Nokia has tried to solve the other issue, of the phone screen scratches, by adding a strengthening layer on the display and modifying the keyboard, so that the keys do not touch the screen.

Nokia E90 Communicator was far from being considered an efficient device up to this point, but the huge number of return rates makes matters even worse. Its size and operating system gave it a weak start straight from its launch, but the problems seem to keep adding. It’s an unexpected outcome for a mobile phone coming from the world leading handset producer.

  1. the E90 looks sleek in crimson~~~my friend jus got it~~~it rocks~~~a bit heavy~but its a communicator

  2. I just had both problems.
The worse is that Nokia Service quality is much worse than the equipment. After 6 weeks I had to leave my set at Nokia Service with microphone problems. After 4 weeks it returned this time with changed case, by the way cracked and of the previous model not improved to prevent contact between keyboard and screen. New claim, 4 weeks more and afterwards everything the same. Very angry I claimed again to get the handset 4 weeks later (total 3 months!) working OK, without significative problems but with bad appearance: they changed cover parts and some were bright color others matt color; this is not acceptable for a premium equipment as this one; this is very poor quality, very poor customer serv ice, total arrogance; of course I disn“t claim again, otherwise my habdset would spend most of is lifecicle at Nokia Service Premises!
Conclusion, good equipment, good software, terrible quality and customer service, NOKIA NEVER MORE!!!

  3. I was going to buy this phone tomorrow. I have now to consider changing Nokia totally.
