Update: Nokia German Facility closure

The Invest in Germany Council is not so happy with Nokia’s decision of closing its Bochum facility especially because of the reason that Nokia has given of Bochum being less competitive. Germany as we all know is the European manufacturing hub and has some of the advanced manufacturing climates. Nokia it seems wanted to close Bochum plant because of high-costs involved and cited the wrong reason of Bochum being less competitive. I will be surprised if I learn that Nokia chose Romania over Bochum just because Romania is much more competitive…This move might result in over 2300 job cuts
