Ways to identify Fake Nokia Phones

Nokia Philippines has come out with ways to identify fake Nokia phones. Nokia N81, Nokia 5310, Nokia N95, Nokia N82, Nokia 6120 are some of the fake Nokia phones in the Philippines market. So next time you are buying a Nokia phone from Philippines or some other place, which is famous for its shady mobile handset bazaars, try one of these and stop getting cheated:
- Price of a fake Nokia is almost half or one-third of its original counterpart.
- Abnormally lightweight phones can be fake, so beware, for humans light weights are in but not for phones
- Fake mobile don’t have the blue colored 12-month warranty sticker. If the phone has the sticker then use the other ways to identify fakes (this is my version)
- Unavailability of or poorly printed Nokia Care tamper proof warranty stickers are sign of a fake Nokia mobile handset
- Genuine Nokia phones have a tamper-proof label at the back and they also have tamper-proof warranty seal
- Original Nokia phone have batteries with hologram showing Nokia “Connecting people” logo and “Original Enhancements” written on them. If you slant the hologram left, right, down, and up you will see 1,2,3 and 4 dots on each side
So next time you buy a Nokia mobile, make sure you do all these tests. Its ok if the retailer gets annoyed with your antics..end of the day you are taking what you paid for.

does anyone know about identifying an original “made in finland” N95?…..without much physical examination of the hand set..like maybe dialing a few numbers in the phone?? Thanks
i bought my N81 last friday the phone is very pretty and elegant i dont know if my cp is original…bec. when i listening music there are few times that it hang so i need it to turned off to refresh my phone pls more info. to identofy the fake nokia N series

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are:
08 or 80 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality
01 or 10 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good
00 this means your cell phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality
02 or 20 this means your cell phone was assembled in Emirates which is very Bad quality
13 this means your cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very Bad quality and also dangerous for your health
To identify a fake nokia mobile. Always check if it is dual sim or not. Most fake nokia models are dual sim
