Sony Ericsson P1i with BlackBerry Connect v4.0 in India soon

Sony Ericsson P1i, a 3G Touch screen phone will now come pre-loaded with the BlackBerry Connect software v4.0. This announcement was made on 22 November 2007.
The handset will be available in select countries in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
The Sony Ericsson P1i is touted as a “mobile office” and boasts features such as business card scanner, Skype, Symbian OS, 3G, Handwriting recognition, Video call, Integrated camera, Bluetooth, Music recognition etc.
With the BlackBerry Connect software Sony Ericsson P1i users will gain access to additional features such as push-based email, attachment viewing and wireless email synchronization etc. For those who already have the handset, the software can be downloaded from the Sony Ericsson website.
