I would like to take you through the various plans available from Airtel for GPRS.
Airtel does not advertise supporting EDGE through their Mobile Office service but you
cansee a noticeable difference in the latency if your handset supports EDGE like my Nokia
6630. Airtel has a Data Card service which competes with Reliance CDMA Data Card and
Tata Indicom CDMA Data Card.
Here are the plans for Airtel Postpaid User

The above plans not only allow you to connect to the internet from your mobile phone but also allow you to use your Laptop or PC . Its can be be a life saver in a place where you dont have internet access otherwise and cannot find a cyber cafe.

airtel mobile office is disconnected autometically after few minutes….?????????
Hi frnds i use aircel internet service.It is totaly free,free downloading etc.Although its speed is low,but i enjoy using this free internet service provided by aircel.THANKS TO AIRCEL
Oh my god !! 4 mb. ka song download hota hai 52min. Me! wah re airtel wah. Aur mere sare friendz ko mai salah dunga k apne mobile me Opera mini 4.0 application download karein. Aapko surfing bahot sasti padegi. Mai khud exprience le raha hu. Enjoy. For any assistance mail me. pramod.rawte@gmail.com
Why not Opera 4.2 or Opera 5beta
I am broken my Airtel Sim. Better way for internet is BSNL Broadband.
Some point for comparing Airtel & BSNL.
(1.) Airtel charged Rs. 20/day with 8mb limit it’s mean Rs.600/month for 240mb. But BSNL Broadband offers Rs. 250/month with 1024mb (1GB) limit.
(2.) Airtel charged 75 Rs./mb if you crossed free usage limit But BSNL charged only 0.40 Rs./mb.
(3.) Airtel’s maximum net speed is only 5-15 kbps But BSNL provide 512 kbps to 2mbps.

Just go for RELIANCE gprs @ rs 80/week unlimited dwnld at 2~4 kbps OR aircel rs 98/month unlimited plan at speed 1~ 2 kbps. AIRTEL is expensive and speed is 1.5~3.5 kbps at theirs amazing eye popping rates.
