NVIDIA introduces GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti starting at Rs. 10000 and Rs. 12500

NVIDIA today introduced GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti, latest entry-level cards based on the company’s new Pascal architecture and is built on Samsung’s 14nm process.  It has support for DirectX 12, Vulkan graphics APIs and consumers just 75 watts of power. Since these are entry-level cards, these are not VR Ready like the mid-range GTX 1060.

NVIDIA says that these cards can play today’s most popular games at a smooth 60fps. These are based on GP107 GPU and promise 3x performance increase over GTX 650, and slightly over 50% increase over GTX 750 Ti.

NVIDIA also says that the GTX 1050 Ti on average is 40% faster and more than 128% more power efficient than the closest competitive product at stock speeds.

NVIDIA GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti custom boards will be available from NVIDIA GeForce Partners, including ASUS, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, iGame, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac.

NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti will be available in India on October 25 starting at Rs. 12,500, while the GTX 1050 will be available on or before November 8 starting at Rs. 10,000. NVIDIA  GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 start at $139 and $109, respectively in the U.S.
