Tokyo and Stockholm, April 15 — Sony and Ericsson today announced the consolidated financial summary for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005 of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB (Sony Ericsson), the 50:50 joint venture of Sony and Ericsson.
Next year, Nokia expects 15 percent of the overall mobile phones on the market to include MP3 music players, but it plans to include MP3 players in half of the models it ships. Likewise, it expects two-thirds of its new models to incorporate digital cameras.

The other features of the phone include 0.5 MP camera with video capture, Bluetooth, EDGE, FM radio. The price of the device will be 750 Euro, the expected availability is set for 3Q, 2005
The company is interested in expanding into India’s film, publishing and online markets after a foray into the mobile gaming arena.
The company estimates revenue of Rs 25 crore per month from the service which went paid on April 1.
The company will be investing around $150 million in the production unit which is expected to begin in the first half of 2006 and eventually employ 2000 people.
