Nikon KeyMission 170 and KeyMission 80 action cameras announced

Nikon has announced two new action cameras KeyMission 170, and KeyMission 80. The company had announced KeyMission 360 action camera with 4K video recording at the beginning of this year.

The KeyMission 170 is shockproof and waterproof and captures dynamic 170° wide-angle 4K UHD videos /30p. It comes with various shooting modes like Slow Motion, Superlapse Movie and Time-lapse Movie. The camera features an electric VR function. It is compatible with the SnapBridge 360/170 app (for smartphones and tablets), and the KeyMission 360/170 Utility (for computers). The camera is waterproof to 33 feet, shockproof up to 6.6 feet, and can handle temperatures upto 14 degrees Fahrenheit. Nikon will also sell a waterproof housing for protecting the KeyMission 170 to depths of 131 feet.

The KeyMission 80 is a slim yet tough wearable camera designed for quick shooting of stills and movies. It features an exclusively designed small NIKKOR lens and comes equipped with a second camera with 4.9 million effective pixels and a LCD monitor for easy selfies. Thanks to its portable design it offers one-handed recording with the press of a button. It is waterproof upto 3.2 feet and shockproof up to 6 feet. The camera has Time-lapse Movie mode for recording changes that occur over time, and Route Shooting for capturing a journey with photos or movies.

The KeyMission 360, KeyMission 170 and KeyMission 80 will be available in India by November 2016. All the three cameras are listed on the Nikon India website but there is no word on the pricing yet.
