Asus had announced the ZenScreen portable monitor at IFA 2016. We were live at the event and got our hands on it. Let’s take a look at hardware and specifications of the ZenScreen.
The ZenScreen is 15.6 inch Full HD monitor that sports an almost edge-to-edge display with ultra-thin 6.5 mm bezels and a 1 mm foldable smart case which acts as a stand. It can be connected to output device via USB Type C port. There is a Asus branding at the bottom. It weighs 800 grams and is 8mm thick while the bezels around the display itself are 6.5mm thick.
The folio case can hold the ZenScreen up horizontally or vertically. Asus says this adds just 1 mm to the thickness of the monitor. ZenScreen will be available for 269 Euro ($300 approx.) but there is no word on the official release date.
