Google+ has received a much needed update that brings Material Design features. The service is also getting additional features such as richer conversations and new notification center.

With richer conversations, users can add links and photos to your comments. Community owners and moderators will now get more control over who posts what with approved posting. The update also brings a new notifications center on the web where you can see and manage recent activity on your Google+. These features will be available across the web, Android and iOS in the coming weeks.

The new Google+redesign that was rolled out for handful will now be available for users in November. Google revealed that since testing the update, twice as many Collections are followed per day and there are 1.6 million daily new Community joins.
