Microsoft finally starts rolling out Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update

The Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update is finally here. Microsoft has started rolling out Windows 10 Anniversary update for mobile devices that run on Windows 10.

The build version for the latest release is 14393.67 and members of the Windows Insiders program have already received this update. Microsoft has started rolling out Windows 10 Anniversary update globally at the beginning of this month.

A bunch of Windows Phones including Lumia 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, MCJ Madosma Q501 had received the Windows 10 mobile update. In order to manually check for the update, on Start, swipe over to the All apps list, then select Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates.

The Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update offers features like new camera shortcut, revamped Quick Setting, improved Cortana, music controls from lock screen, and so on.

Microsoft says that availability may vary by manufacturer, model, country or region, mobile operator or service provider, hardware limitations and other factors.
