This week Samsung launched the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro smartphones in the ‘On series’ as the successors of last year’s Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7.

The Galaxy On5 Pro has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor and has a 8-megapixel rear camera . The Galaxy On7 Pro has a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 410 processor and has a 13-megapixel rear camera.

The Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro come in Black and Gold colors and are priced at Rs. 9,190 and Rs. 11,190, respectively.  These are exclusively available from Amazon.in . Watch unboxing video below.

LG launched the Stylus 2 Plus smartphone in India. It packs a 5.7-inch 1080p IPS Quantum display, is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.

LG Stylus 2 Plus

It comes with a stylus pen with nano-coated tip for more accuracy compared to the previous rubber-tipped pen.  The LG Stylus 2 Plus comes in black color and is priced at Rs. 24,450.

Gionee launched F103 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘F (Fashion) series’ in India. It has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo UI 3.2. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Gionee F103 Pro

The Gionee F103 Pro comes in Gold, White and Gray colors and is priced at Rs. 11999. It is available through retail stores and through official Gionee online store in India.

Karbonn launched Aura Power, the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone with a 4000mAh battery. It has a 5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Karbonn Aura Power

The Karbonn Aura Power comes in Champagne and Ark-blue Champagne colors and is priced at Rs. 5990.

Reliance Retail launched Water 4 and Water 6 smartphones with 4G VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) support. Both the phones have a 5-inch HD screen, are powered by Snapdragon 410 SoC, run Android 5.1 (Lollipop), have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Lyf Water 6The LYF Water 4 and Water 6 smartphones come in white color and are priced at Rs. 7599 and Rs. 8999, receptively.

Sony launched two power banks in India that can charge multi- devices at the same time, with a maximum fast- charging output. The 15,00mAh and 20,000mAh power banks come with the Lithium-ion polymer that supports pass-through charging which allows the device connected to the charger and as well as the charger itself to be charged at the same time.

Sony claims that these power banks can retain 90 per cent of its capacity even after 1,000 charge. Both the power-banks are manufactured using Sony’s Hybrid Gel Technology.

The 15,000 mAh power bank is available in silver and black colors, and will cost Rs 5,100. The 20,000 mAh Power Bank will come in a black colour and is priced at Rs 7,500. Both will be available exclusively on Flipkart from July 15, and in offline stores from August 15.

Lava launched X80, the company’s latest tablet in the ‘X series’ with Intel Atom Baytrail quad-core SoC with speed of up to 1.83GHz. It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels), runs on old Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities via headset or speaker.

The Lava X80 comes in Black and White colors and is priced at Rs. 9,999.

Intex also launched its latest tablet – iBuddy IN-7DD01 – in the iBuddy series with dual-SIM support, 3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities, alongside the new entry-level Andi Gold 4G smartphone.

The iBuddy IN-7DD01 has a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels), is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.

The Intex iBuddy IN-7DD01 tablet comes in black color, is priced at Rs. 4,799 (Rs. 5499 MRP) and is available exclusively from Amazon.in.

iBall has launched Andi Gold 4G, the company’s latest 4G smartphone in the Andi series with a 3000mAh battery.

It packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1GHz Quad-Core processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It has dual-SIM support, similar to most of the iBall smartphones.

The The iBall Andi Gold 4G comes in Gold color and is priced at Rs. 6,499 (MRP).

Huawei’s Honor this week announced Honor 8, the company’s latest high-end smartphone in China. It packs a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC with i5 co-processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1 on top. The main highlight of the smartphone are the dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with laser auto focus and 1.76-micron pixel size promising brilliant image quality in low-light conditions, similar to the Honor V8 that was introduced back in May.

The honor 8 comes in Pearl White, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, Sakura Pink and Sapphire Blue colors and is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 299 / Rs. 20050 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage full version netcom / carrier edition, 2299 yuan (US$ 343 / Rs. 23,050 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage entire network version and 2499 yuan (US$ 374 / Rs. 25,070 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage entire network version. It is now available for order in China and will go on sale from July 19th.

Huawei also announced Maimang 5, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with 77.9% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1 on top.

The Huawei Maimang 5 comes in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Moonlight silver colors and is priced at  2399 yuan for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB version costs 2599 yuan. It is now available for order in China and goes on sale from July 21.

Moto E3 / Moto E 2016 smartphone finally gone official. It packs a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also comes with dual-SIM support depending on the market.

The Moto E3 comes in Black and White colors and will go on sale in the UK from early September starting at RRP of £99 (US$ 132 / Rs. 8860 approx.).

Asus announced Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser at Zenvolution 2016 event in Vietnam. It has a 4100mAh battery that promises up to 30 days of standby, 20 hours of 3G talk time, 20 hours of web browsing on 4G and 15 hours of video playback.

The Zenfone 3 Max has a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with 75% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZenUI on top. It is the international variant of the ZenFone Pegasus 3 that was unveiled in China last month.

Asus Zenfone 3 Laser

The Zenfone 3 Laser has a 5.5-inch 1080p display 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass display, is powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZenUI and has a 13-megapixel rear camera.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes in Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver and Sand Gold colors and starts at 4,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 200/ Rs. 13500 approx.). The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Silver colors and is priced at 5,990,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$ 268 / Rs. 18,020 approx.).

Lenovo unveiled the Vibe A and Vibe C2 smartphones in the Vibe series in Russia. The Vibe A has a 4-inch WVGA, is powered by a Spreadtrun SC7731 SoC, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

Lenovo Vibe A

The Lenovo Vibe A comes in Black and White colors, but no details about the pricing or roll out details yet. Looking at its specifications, the Vibe A should be less than Rs. 4999, which was the launch price of Lenovo A1000.

The Vibe C2 has a 5-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
