O2 UK has started shipping microSIM cards to its iPhone 4 Customers who have pre-ordered them. The customers would be getting their iPhones tomorrow. Many users keep asking us if microSIM cards would work with other phones or if they can use normal SIMs with the iPad 3G or iPhone 4.

There is some clarity about this now. O2 is also shipping an microSIM to normal SIM adapter along with the new SIM Card.  We are sure such adapters would start hitting the market in plenty pretty soon !  So if you are planning to buy an iPad 3G or iPhone 4 and going to use it in countries where it has not been launched , all you need is a normal SIM, an adapter , a butcher’s knife and plenty of courage to take the plunge !

Guys, there is a way to use microSIM card in every mobile phone, and not only in the Iphone 4 or Ipad! I heard there is a thing called micro sim adapter. Basically, you put your microSIM card inside it and use it in any phone. I googlesearched it and found it here: gomicrosim.com They say it costs 4.5 EUR. They also seem to offer the sticker guide to cut the regular simcard into the microsim. IMHO their price and quality is the best so far.
